Church Planters

Our church planters are passionate about sharing the Gospel and building Christ-centered communities.

Casa de Oracion Church Planters

Pastors Christian & Eukarys Sebastia are pastors of Casa de Oracion (House of Prayer) CRC and worship on our campus Sundays @ 5 PM.  Christian & Eukarys are originally from Venezuela and came to this country in 2015 when they started Carismah Church in Katy. Pastor Christian is a seasoned church planter having planted 33 churches directly and 17 indirectly. He has a bold vision for planting 18 churches in Houston in the next 20 years. Eukarys is a gifted pastor and counselor and enjoys working with young people and women. She is also a gifted administrator and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Casa de Oracion was originally started by Pastor Pablo Gaggero. In October 2011 Pablo started Casa de Oracion in Conroe, TX where they met at The Church at 242. In 2013 Pablo handed this ministry over to Pastor Diego Hiriart, also from Argentina. This church has since changed its name to Mision de Fe (Mission of Faith). In 2014 Pablo started another church, Casa de Oracion in Spring, which continues to meet on New Life's campus.
Casa de Oracion’s vision is to reach out to the community, to make a Christian out of every person, a disciple out of every Christian, and a leader out of every disciple. They meet during the week in homes to disciple believers and reach family, friends, neighbors, and others for Christ. They also have a prayer service on Thursday evenings.
Pastors Christian & Eukarys were ordained as Ministers of the Word in the Christian Reformed Church of North America in 2019.

Vida Nueva Church Planters

Pastor Leon Vidal and his wife Erika started Vida Nueva in 2016. They were sent out by New Life Church with our blessing and met in a beautiful store front space on Kuykendahl Road in Spring, just south of Spring Cypress Road. They now worship in the New Life Church facilities. Their worship service is Sunday at 1:00 PM and prayer service is Friday at 6:30 PM. Please join them for worship!

Their vision is to preach the gospel to the Hispanic Community in the Houston and surrounding cities. This includes the following:
  • Reconciling man to God
  • Disciple families into a spiritual maturity
  • Renew the minds of the Hispanic people through the teachings of the Word of God.
  • Teach the children at a young age to persevere in living a life of faith according the teachings of the Bible
  • Work with men to practice a life according to Christ’s teaching.
  • To teach the women respect, love, and nurture for their homes according to Christ’s teachings.
  • Impact our community by bringing the message of faith, hope ,and love through the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Pray for Vida Neuva that they would be able to fulfill the vision God has given them. Also, lift up prayers for Pastor Leon, Erika, and their three children, George, Martha and Genesis.

Mission of Faith Church Planters

Mision de Fe Internacional (Mission of Faith International) Mc Allen is a new church plant pastored by Manuel & Sandra Sosa.  The Sosa family currently pastor Mission of Faith Reynosa, across the border in Mexico. Manuel & Sandra took over the Reynosa church from Diego & Camila Hiriart, who planted Mission of Faith Conroe (now Mission of Faith Spring) in 2013. So, Mission of Faith McAllen is the third Mission of Faith church to start. We praise God for Manuel & Sandra and Diego & Camila!
Manuel & Sandra are originally from Argentina and felt God's call to work in Mexico, where they worked together with Diego & Camila. Manuel & Sandra were ordained as Commissioned Pastors in the Christian Reformed Church in 2019 and are excited to start this new ministry in Mc Allen. We praise God for provision with immigration so Manuel can work in the United States. Please keep Manuel & Sandra and their family in your prayers. Square Inch Houston

John was born and raised in Jos, Nigeria. Through the influence of the Christian Reformed Church in Nigeria, he was able to get scholarships to study Engineering at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The plan was to go back home to Nigeria, and make a difference in a very tangible way with Construction Management. Little did he know that he had written his plans in pencil, and God had the eraser! God sent John on a long journey of discernment through switching his major, various on-campus leadership positions, and unemployment after college. All this ultimately ended in a call to study at Calvin Seminary, and a burning desire to serve in the full time ministry of the church.

John and his wife Chinyere got married in June 2011.  John served as an intern at New Life in the summer of 2011 and completed his residency in 2012. John and Chichi were church planting in the Midtown neighborhood of Houston but changed their focus to Houston's historic Third Ward. John is now a Community Chaplain and working in the area of Community Development through Square Inch Houston. They are excited about how God will use them to live justice, love mercy, and walk rightly with Him. Visit their Web Page to learn more of what God is doing in and through them.

New Life Nepal Church Planters

Pastor Krishna is hard at work in Nepal, and even though he is on the other side of the world, New Life Church is blessed to be a part of his ministry.  Aside from his pastoral duties and the services he performs as a servant of Christ, Pastor Krishna has proven to be an extraordinary evangelist in a country where our Lord was previously unknown.  Every email and letter tells of new conversions, baptisms, and a veritable flood of new believers.  His accounts and descriptions remind us of Luke’s writings in Acts, of the body of believers as it emerged in the weeks and months after the resurrection.
What a blessing for us at New Life to be a part of this!  How often in your life have you had or will you have such an impact on the conversion of so many?  This truly is the birth of the church in a nation, and we at New Life have the wonderful exciting opportunity to directly participate in this harvest.

If you were to read Pastor Krishna’s correspondence, you would note that he very seldom asks for financial assistance and that his primary need is our prayers.  However, financial assistance is a reality in this growing ministry. A few years ago when Pastor John visited Nepal he reported on the need for a church building in Ghorka, the rural village area where Pastor Krishna grew up. Recently Pastor Andy and Randy Wester visited Nepal and saw the New Life Church in Ghorka that had been completed. Pastor Krisha said this was in large part due to the generous giving of everyone here in New Life Church in Spring!
